From expedition to zero emission exhibition

(Ant)ARCTIC matters (AAM) is a tantalizing global project, creating awareness for today's ecological consequences of climate change. Project leader is Dixie Dansercoer, who has been monitoring our planet's vital barometers all through his many polar expeditions. Physically, AAM is an art exhibition, travelling around the world in twelve containers.

The exhibit's main goal is to confront the visitor with an artistic view on the intricate character of the Polar Regions, the Arctic Ocean and the Antarctic continent, two unique global barometers for climate change.

Our mission is:

  • To bring awareness to the fragility of the Polar Regions
  • To tantalize by providing direct confrontation
  • To stimulate action

AAM Congress

The Conference, organised in Prague in 09/2010, is designed to be a business and institutional platform to exchange climate change related research findings, practices, experiences and lessons learned. Together with our conference partner Czech-In, we plan to organize the conference in 2011 in Hamburg as European Green Capital and in 2012 in Copenhagen on the occasion of the Danish EU Presidency.
